REDDCopernicus - GFOI R&D Online Workshop 14th-15th June 2021

The presentations which were part of the REDDCopernicus - GFOI R&D Online Workshop: Assessing Research Priorities for Forest Monitoring in Support of REDD+ MRV and other Initiatives on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th June 2021 are now available here. The objectives were to bring together research experts on FM to systematically assess current R&D progress, identify remaining R&D gaps, develop concepts to address those gaps, and finally present a priority list of gaps and actions. There were six sessions during this workshop namely; Biomass, Degradation and Regrowth, Uncertainty analysis, Early warning, Land Use and GHGs, and GFOI R&D and next steps. During the sessions invited speakers gave short pitches outlining research progress, remaining challenges, and proposed new research related to that theme.
